Arts are the name of the humanistic discipline and its study is aimed at providing knowledge base with intellectual skills and not occupational or the professional skills. Generally speaking art is a form of human activity that is made with the objective of stimulating the senses and mind by way of transmission of emotions and ideas. Artist is a creative person that creates the art either as an amateur or as professional. Anyone skilled in specific activities or is a learned person is also called as an Artist. Artists can be painter, musician, dramatist, actor, singer, photographer, stage artist, and cinema artist etc.
The arts establishments encompass production, promotion, and participation in performances of events for public viewing. The objectives could be historical, cultural or educational. In the Romantic period arts came to be known as "a special faculty of the human mind to be classified with religion and science." Award is given in recognition of the accomplishments made in the field of Arts and can be area specific, national, and international.
Types of Arts are, Expressive art can illustrate abstract thought and the expressions could elicit hidden emotions before the viewers. The realistic form of art is one where the aesthetic quality is independent of human view. The objectivist form of art is one where the form of art exposed is dependent on the human experience and finally there is the relativist form where the form of art varies with variance of humans. Visual arts depict the forms or colors of object in such manner that it affects the sense of beauty.
Arts as a mode of expression include emotions, feelings, ideas, and means of their communication with the mass. Art exists essentially in the mind of its creator.
