The term world refers to the earth and everything that exists on it. Earth is the third planet in the universe and it is called the world where we live in. It also includes all the experiences that determine how things present themselves before you. The term ‘world’ also refers to your domain mentally when it is used to refer as “his world was shattered”.

Ecological, social, national, ethnic, geographical, or psychological environment is also known as the world. 

“We live in different world” refers to the difference in the environment and conditions you live in with others. People in distinct group with shared interests are also termed as the “Eastern world” or the “Western world”.

“Worldly concerns” mean material concern. Culturally also the groups are divided as “the world of music”, “the world of cinema” and so on.

In philosophical sense “world” refers to everything that forms the reality.

It also refers at times to the setting as well as the background of a game or sports.

Qualified form of the world is fashion world, world of work, new world, old world, and carrier world etc.
