Travel

Travel refers to the change of location, movement, traveling or proceeding from one place to another. For example “how fast your new auto will move” or “we have traveled from Arizona to New York’ are the examples of travel.
In essence travel means undertaking a journey or a trip from your present location to elsewhere.

Travel can be pleasure trip or business trip, local, overseas, across the country, tourism, work-motivated, cultural purposes, political motives, or any such thing.

Medium of travel can be done by cars, public transports, planes, ships, autos, trains, and even bicycles.

Travel involves movement, shifting, and change of location, vehicles, and places to move.

Overseas travel involves passport, visa, permission, adherence to official regulations etc.

Transportation for travel involves a vehicle that could be a public transport vehicle, a private vehicle or any other.  It could be anything from bicycle to car and train to plane.

Travel involves locomotion or self propelled movement. 

Traveling from place to place can be undertaken in search of job, for preaching or any such purpose.  Travel also involves spending of time in movement.  Very often the travel is undertaken for recreational purposes. Travel is often associated with tourism.

Planned travel is one in which the destination and the timings are pre-determined. Study tours and travels are undertaken for research, studies and educational purposes.

Tourists relate to viewing, places of interests, tourist spots, historical sites, excursions, picnic, geography, wild life, rivers, sea, beach traveling etc.

Travelers may travel for works, business purposes, joining in seminars and conferences, enjoy long vacations, specific purposes, generalized purposes and for research works or literary creations and for enjoying sports and cultural programs. 

Travel insurance refers to insuring your person from injuries relating to travel or luggage and valuables against possible loss or damage on transit and theft or burglary. Accommodation and transportation like the airlines tickets are always related to travel.

Adventure travel involves unplanned travel, going for the unknown, and exploration of unexplored areas.

Travel plan involves traveling schedules, timing, selection of places, preparation of itinerary, registration, obtaining and arrangement of accommodation and transportation.

A top level domain that is approved by the ICANN and a second group of TLD is also termed ‘Travel’.
